Professional vehicle transport from Eder GmbH
Eder GmbH has built trailers and vehicles for car transport for around 30 years under two brands, Algema and FIT-ZEL. Several hundred vehicles and trailers a year leave its workshops in Tuntenhausen near Rosenheim, Germany, and Marchtrenk, Austria. Eder works closely with manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Opel/Vauxhall, Renault and VW, and is ISO 9001 certified for quality management.
In 2015 Wabtec Developments became Eder’s first factory approved sales and service agent in the UK. That makes it easy for UK customers to see the products, get local support and get help with new vehicle registration.

Covered transporters
Many Algema and FIT-ZEL owners carry high value cars – classics, race cars and prestige vehicles – that deserve full protection on the road. Every product apart from the AT can be built with a tarpaulin or hard cover, with a choice of doors, flaps, sliding curtains, winches and other accessories.
Product history
At the end of the 1970s Algema had the idea of a trailer with a tilting chassis, giving a minimal drive-up angle for car transport. That grew into a stand-alone vehicle with a tilting chassis. The AT trailer and the Blitzlader vehicle went into series production in 1984 and have been developed ever since.
FIT-ZEL started building car transporter trailers in 1976, and in aluminium from 1992 – what it is best known for across Europe. FIT-ZEL joined Algema in 2009, and its car transporter vehicle, the Speeder, followed.
