This policy explains how Wabtec Developments Limited (“we”, “us”) uses personal information collected through www.wabtec-developments.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website forms we receive the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, and for crane enquiries the site postcode and preferred date, along with your message. If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp we receive the details you share that way.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, provide quotes and carry out work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We don’t sell your information or use it for marketing lists.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any work that follows, and for up to six years where they form part of our business records.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that host this website and our email, and – if you ask about trailer finance – with Red Chilli Finance, so they can contact you about your application.
Cookies and third-party content
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Videos are shown as still images and only load from YouTube, which may set its own cookies, when you press play. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing Will@wabtec-developments.com or calling 01663 745 582. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
